I just want to say that all of the well wishes and messages of love and support we have received since Kellen has arrived have meant so much to us. It is so nice knowing that we have so much love and support surrounding our new family.
Halloween was our first full day at home with Kellen and it was jam packed! After getting maybe 3 hours of sleep the night before (and for the last several nights in a row) it was time to take Kellen to his first pediatrician appointment. We dressed him up in a halloween outfit and headed off to the doctor. He did great! HE has already started gaining back the little weight he lost after birth and the doctor measured him at 22 inches long! Did he get taller already?! It was fun seeing all the other little babies at the doctor in their halloween gear, and we really like the doctor.
A little later my Mom (Nana) and his Auntie Amelia and his Great Grandmother Edna (visiting from Tennessee) stopped by to see Kellen. It was my Grandmother's birthday and I was so glad that she was able to see him! It is so cool watching everyone meet our little monkey for the first time. The night before last Kellen got to meet his Auntie Lisa and Uncle Donnie and everyone had their opinion about what color his hair and eyes will end up being...I think his hair will be brown and will lighten up in the sun, I predict brown eyes too...Auntie Lisa says blue eyes, and Nana Sandy says reddish blond hair...hmmmmm I think this is a case of mother knows best! HAHA! Well here are lots more cute pics of Kellen....enjoy! We can't stop staring at him!
