peekaboo, grabbing toes and trying to sit up!

Kellen is now 3 and 1/2 months old and he is just determined to pretend he is a 6 month old. Besides wearing 6 month size clothes it seems like he thinks he can walk, sit up alone and crawl. It is really fun to watch him try, but I feel for him when he gets frustrated because he can't. Sometimes he gets so intent on playing with his toys, grabbing his toes, or trying to leap out of my arms that he gets frustrated and starts grunting and having a mini-meltdown.

I love this picture! It is such a rare sight to see him smiling in his car seat. He is usually freaking out in it, which is why we have nicknamed it Kellen's personal torture chamber. But here is, snug as bug and smiling as we get ready to go to Nonnie and Grandpa Charles for dinner. 

Here he is hanging out with Nonnie and Auntie Lisa, he was showing them how he grunts at his new favorite flower rattle.
This was taken moments after one of Kellen's famous bright orange diaper blow outs. It wasn't pretty...but he sure is cute. He was sucking on his toes, but quit when I got the camera out. 
And later on sleeping on the floor with is favorite toys.
I know he is wearing the same outfit as the last blog but I promise these are new, just taken today.  This is Kellen sitting all by himself! He can only hold it for about 10 seconds but it is so cool that he is even this close. According to the typical way things go he shouldn't be doing this for at least another month. I swear I am not trying to sound super braggy..but it is cool, and a little disturbing how determined he is to grow up too fast.
