I can not believe that 3 months have passed since we welcomed our baby boy into all of our lives. It has been such an amazing journey. A few of my girlfriends have recently given birth - all to boys and all 3 in January! As I have been following their first few weeks as moms I have been reminiscing about the first weeks with Kellen. It was such a mountain top life experience. Everyday it was like I couldn't believe that he was really here, really perfect and healthy and that I was now someone's mom. I also wondered if I would ever sleep again, ever have a "normal" life...and now I know that I have a "normal" life it is just totally different - and so much more fulfilling and exciting. Everyday is better than the one before and just when you think your kid can get no cuter, he does! By at his 3 month vaccination appointment he weighed a whopping 16 lbs. 12 oz.!!! They didn't measure him but the last time I did it at home he was almost 26 inches from head to heel. That puts him in the 97th percentile for height and weight! What a big boy!
We recently had the scare of my life - my MacBook hard drive crashed, taking all of our pictures with it. I thought I had lost all the photos of my baby. Of course I had not backed anything up - except on here!!! THANK GOD I did this because I have all the best photos on the blog and was able to download them back into iPhoto and burn them to disc. I don't know what I would have done without all these precious photos. Anyway, it is all fixed now, but the moral of the story is BACK UP YOUR STUFF!

I know what you mean, i cant believe it has already been two weeks, and he already is getting bigger.
Precious! I'm so glad you were able to get some of the photos back! My goodness! He is going be such a big boy! Jordan just had his 6 month appt today and weighed 18.13 and was 28 inches...75th for weight and 93rd for height...I can't wait to see how huge Kellen is!
