Grandpa Charles celebrated his 68th birthday last night and had a little help from Kellen blowing out his candles. We had a great time eating too much lumpia and cake. I made the cake with help from betty crocker yesterday afternoon, it was amazing that Kellen actually napped enough so I could get it done.
Grandpa was laughing because Kellen's silly mommy accidentally sang happy birthday to Kellen instead of to him! See, it is official I am crazy about my kid!
It has been so warm the last few days, in the 80's and Kellen has been able to wear some of his cutesy sun suits. He looked so gosh darn adorable in this outfit I had to snap a few pictures. His hair is looking more and more strawberry blonde everyday!
Did you know that a friendly ghost inhabits our bedroom? And Kellen is fascinated by it. I hung one of my scarves over the light that hangs from the ceiling near our bed so that the light is muted at night. It sways and blows in the wind from our fan and Kellen is enraptured by it. I started calling it the ghost and laying Kellen under it on the bed. He just stares and stares....

Super cute photos. Looks like you love your little man to pieces. Motherhood definitely is the best. No one can deny that! What a cutie you have!!! I can't wait to meet him!
what the heck is lumpia? Grandpa Charles just looks so happy to have Kellen... I really hope i can have grandkids some day cause i'm already thinking sadly about the days when the boys are grown and i cry sentimentally over thier baby pictures.
