Baby Chompers and his Jumperoo!

Well, you all recently learned of the friendly ghost that Kellen and I play with in our room, but did you also know that Daddy thinks Kellen is a baby vampire? HAHAHAHA!! I swear we aren't crazy - just waaaay too silly to be someone's serious parents. Brandon has been playing this nightly game with Kellen where he drapes Kellen over his chest on the bed and then Kellen wriggles his way up to his neck and chomps down! It is so funny. And he does it over and over. It probably has something to do with Kellen thinking he might be able to nurse from Brandon's neck. It is hilarious, we all just laugh and Kellen smacks his lips!

The sweetest baby vampire around, but watch out he'll get you!

Moving in for a bite to eat.

Watch out Daddy, here I come!

In addition to his new love for chomping on daddy, Kellen is a go-go-go baby lately. He wants to constantly be on the move. The days of him contentedly gazing up at me from my lap are long gone. When he is in our laps he pushes up to standing and loves to be carried around in the infantino carrier. It has been hard to get anything accomplished during the days when it is just Kellen and I, like eat, brush my teeth, go to the bathroom etc. so I began researching toys that would be fun for him and have some benefits too..and would keep him occupied longer than 10 minutes. And I found the Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo, the best invention - EVER! He gets to stand and jump and play with toys all at the same time. It has lights that blink, music and animal sounds and all sorts of things for him to grab. As I am typing this next to Kellen I am realizing that he has been in it HAPPILY for over an hour! A WHOLE HOUR! Even though I can get things done I still find myself just wanting to watch him play in it, it's so cute! It's like a baby workout. He is so strong, I can't believe he is only 12 weeks old.

We put a blanket underneath so that he could jump easier and away he goes!!See, I even want to chomp on my jumperoo

Over the weekend we headed to the beach:
At Scripps Beach, it was at least 80 degrees! Where has winter gone?
At Auntie Alicia's house, her mom was in town and it was so nice visiting with all of them! - I was determined to get a picture of the three of us that didn't have closed eyes, double chins or grimaces...mission accomplished!

What a great thing the jumperoo is! The exersaucers...I don't think we could live without them! He is sooooo cute. I love the one with his mouth wide open! Your family pic is really great too! I can't believe how fast these boys are growing up. Time is flying by! Love the pics of your cutie!
