Our last week in University Heights

Well, the paint is dry in our new room at Sandy's and we have most of our boxes packed and ready to go. We are excited to start a new chapter in our family's history and a bit sad to see this one end.

We have really loved living in our neighborhood. It's a great place filled with lots of young families, great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and the old trolley barn park which has practically been our second home since Kellen was born. As our time in University Heights winds down I have had the urge to get out and do as much as possible. I am also realizing this will be my last few weeks of having Kellen all to myself. But before school starts I have a few more weeks of plenty of baby time and also a family vacation - we will have 11 whole days together - 9 of which will be on our road trip up to Humboldt County. I can't wait!

I will have to do a post after we get settled of Kellen in Sandy's yard. He absolutely loves it back there and it more than makes up for moving from the park. Here are some shots from this week, enjoy!

On our way to play group in south park - I love Kellen's expression

Maracas!

This is Kellen plotting to repeatedly knock over this tent, while shrieking and laughing hysterically. The 2 other kids were a little scared.
And here we are at trolley barn park. Kellen was hugging the palm trees and saying "awwwww"
Hanging with his crew as they get ready to fly a butterfly kite
on the way to fight a fire
Chilling with his older girlfriend
it's up!

he is such a sweetheart
Another beautiful day in the neighborhood....looking forward to even more in mira mesa!

I still can't believe what a perfect mixture Kellen is of you and Brandon! wow.

Good luck on your move, school and adjustment. It is very exciting. I'm sure it will be difficult at times but the payoff should be well worth the effort. Hang in there! :)
