I can't believe that a month has passed already! He has already grown up so much, everyday it is like we have a new baby because he changes so much. He is currently going through an interesting phase, it is like he is part infant, part teenager and part middle aged man...Yes, the dreaded baby acne has struck (right on schedule according to the experts in my baby books) and he has also started to lose his hair (also right on schedule) so he has the male pattern baldness look - he actually looks a little like the Padres Friar - and the new hair that is growing in is blonde and curly! Of course even with the bumps and the missing hair he is still the most adorable baby in the world!
Here is a picture from his birthday 10.28.08 awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwAnd here he is on his 1 month birthday grinning at Mommy!
And later on that day smiling during tummy time
And here he is trying to escape from Daddy

Brandon's Grandpa is in town from Boston and has been having a good time getting to know his new great grandson. On Saturday we had a really nice afternoon at Balboa Park with the family. I was so proud of Kellen, we went out to lunch at the Prado and he slept the entire time! I did lots of scheming and planning to try and make that happen, and it worked. Every time he tried to doze off that morning I figured out a way to keep him awake, then I loaded him up with lots of milk right before we left and he ended up sleeping for almost 3 hours!
Here are a couple of great picture of Brandon, Kellen, Great Grandpa Briggs and Grandpa CharlesThis was taken Thanksgiving night at Brandon's parents house. We spent the day at my Mom's and then headed over to Sandy and Charles for dessert (but everyone knows the real purpose of the visit was so that they could all go goooogooogagaaa over the baby)
Nona loves Kellen's outfit - he is wearing shoes for the first time!
Here are some more pictures from Thanksgiving at my Mom's. We had a great time, there was tons of good homemade southern food and it was so nice seeing everyone together. My Grandmother was still in town and my Aunt Angie and my cousins Perry and Luke were able to make it too.

I just want to end this post by saying that I am so thankful for my beautiful healthy baby boy and that I have such a wonderful husband and supportive family!

Looks like you had a great Thanksgiving! Happy Thanksgiving and Happy 1 month to the cute baby boy! My trick for the acne was Aquaphor ointment...I rubbed it all over him after his baths, changed all detergents to All Free and Clear and changed the shampoo to Aquaphor only. Worked after 1 week and it has never come back! Take care!
The baby acne (according to my pediatrician) is actually from the hormones in your body---it will come and go depending on how long you nurse and your own hormonal changes. At least eden's did :) E got the WORST acne around one month. It was so ugly. It never came back that badly, but did make its appearance every now and again. Of course I nursed until she was nearly 16 months and my body went through a lot of changes during that time. anyways...your little family is so adorable. You and Brandon look great. I am glad you are so content and happy being a mom. I want another one seeing all your snuggly pictures! I'm ready for baby number two. :)
