We met Brandon and Becky when we were living up in Humboldt (the first time) so I guess that was 2004. I'll never forget the fist night we hung out, we met at a party given by one of the Brandon's co-workers. Brandon and Brandon both worked for the City of Eureka but at different schools. We all hit it off and played some ridiculously competitive rounds of foosball and then headed back to their apartment for more good times and Becky's famous Britta water taste tests. The rest was history. Fast forward 5 years later, 2 weddings, 2 babies and plenty of moving and we are still as close as ever. It was so wonderful getting to spend the week with them and to really catch up. I love seeing them as parents, they are doing such a great job and have adjusted to the 24 hour a day job beautifully. We were so excited when we found that they were having a baby too, just a couple months apart from Kellen because we know that means there will be plenty of joint family vacations in our future!
Here we are out on the town, without the babies! We were able to go out for a few hours while Brandon's mom and aunt babysat. It was so nice of them to offer and we had a great time.
