Kellen flies!

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Delaware to visit our friends Brandon, Becky and their 2 month old son Jackson. It was such a nice week, I can't imagine traveling anywhere else with a 4 month old then to a house where another little baby is ruling everyone's lives. I will write much more about our visit in the next few blog posts. But for now here are the photos from Kellen's first time flying.

We flew out of Orange County around 9:00 am last Tuesday. Which meant we were up around 4 and driving up to the airport by 5:30 am. Of course I left way too much packing to be done until the last minute so I only had a couple hours of sleep before the trip. Despite being tired it was great. Kellen is such a trooper, I think he really enjoyed the adventure. We arrived in Delaware around 10 pm that night, after a 3 hour layover in Atlanta. It was a loooooong trip, but we made it!

Here is Kellen checking out the planes with Daddy
And chillin with Mom before the flight

Of course Kellen wanted to ride the luggage
Looking out the window
Playing the trivia game with Daddy
Entertaining the other passengers
In Atlanta during our layover we had to get a few Krystal burgers after I spotted that there was one in the airport. For those of you who don't know, the Krystal is a southern fast food restaurant that is a lot like White Castle, little steamed burgers that melt in your mouth. Daddy hadn't had them before, he obviously liked them.
And here we are headed home...Kellen slept through both legs of our flight, which was awesome since we were all exhausted. I had been a little worried about how he would do flying cross country and I am so happy that he proved to me that I had nothing to worry about. Whether it was the sound of the plane engines or the baby tylenol we gave him, I don't know...but he was a dream!
